What “certified” means
A certified figure in PharmaIntel is one compiled from a named system of record, joined on the parent account code, resolved by a written conflict rule, approved by the team that owns the definition, and stamped with its source and as-of time. Anything that fails one of those tests is not certified, is not exportable, and is shown as “No certified figure.”
- Sources
- Certified figures are compiled from four systems only: the CRM (accounts, ownership, territory), the data warehouse (Doses, shipments), the contract repository (status, effective and end dates, blocking clauses) and the activity log (calls, meetings, email touches). Spreadsheets, decks and manual notes are never a certified source; they can be attached as evidence but never as a value.
- Matching keys
- Every record is joined on the parent account code first, then the site identifier, then the contract identifier. A row that cannot be resolved to a parent account code is quarantined rather than guessed into a total.
- Conflict rules
- When two systems disagree, the system of record for that field wins: the CRM for ownership and territory, the warehouse for volume, the contract repository for dates and status. If the losing system is newer, the record is flagged “source newer” and routed to the operations review queue instead of being silently overwritten. If no rule applies, the figure is withheld and shown as “No certified figure.”
- Who approves
- Operations reviews and clears conflicts. Analytics owns the KPI definitions and signs off on any change to a formula. Legal approves contract-derived fields. A definition change is versioned and dated; the figures that shipped under the prior definition are not retroactively restated.
- What may use certified figures
- Only certified figures may appear in KPI tiles, saved reports, agent answers, exported decks and anything shared outside the commercial team. Working views, scratchpads and in-progress uploads are clearly marked and may not be exported as certified. Every certified number carries its source and as-of timestamp wherever it is displayed.
